Bob Loucks began his career as a financial advisor in 1999 with A.G. Edwards & Sons. He is currently an independent LPL Financial Advisor with Carbondale, IL based Alliance Investment Planning Group. Along with 3 others, Bob formed Alliance Investment Planning Group in December 2007. Alliance Investment Planning Group is a full-service investment and planning firm utilizing the services of LPL Financial, the nation's largest independent broker/dealer. In 2005, Bob successfully completed the requirements established by the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards and earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM. As an independent CFP®, Bob is able to assist clients in developing investment plans to help pursue their present and future financial needs, ranging from wealth accumulation to wealth transfer (i.e., estate planning).
Bob and his wife Debbie reside in DuQuoin, IL. They have 1 daughter, Brandy, a son-in-law Curt Metten and 2 grandchildren, Luke Thomas and Lily Marina. Brandy completed the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at Southern Illinois University (SIU) and is a pharmaceutical representative. Her husband, Curt, is a banking executive with Regions Bank in DuQuoin, IL. Luke is now a freshman at Kansas University (Rock-Chalk Jayhawk). Lily is a sophomore at DuQuoin High School.
Bob retired from Coca-Cola in 1997 after 20 years of managing sales centers in Illinois and Indiana. Bob enjoys family activities, playing golf, and watching baseball (the Chicago Cubs!).
